Compton Verney’s house is now home to a one-acre family of experts in Parkland, which is now an art gallery . In March 2004, a large, recognized art gallery opened in the country. Surviving for the country is Sir Peter Morse, who donated to the Compton Verni House Trust (CVHT) and has since created several important art collections. Not represented in the National Assembly. One of the judges, Kathleen Saryana, was the director of the gallery for four years. Here is an excerpt from the previous series "Portraitist of the Year" - watch next week's show "Prestige of the Year" (2013-2021) .
From February 19 to June 5, 2022, the Compton Verni Art Gallery will host a series of portraits of eight artists of the year .So you can watch the show and then take some paint and draw where the pillars are in this room!

Professional artist
Five professional artists took part in this edition.
- Yulia Borodina is an artist who studied in Russia and Great Britain. He is a full-time professional artist and art teacher (Class & Balance) who currently lives and works in West Yorkshire and is the national and international Royal Society of Watercolor Makers, including the annual Royal Marine Corps Society. Association of Women Artists at Gallery Mall, London. He likes to paint landscapes from the side - and shows. He deftly organized his work on the website by price ranges. It also works for various client commissions.
- Oliver Hearst ( Facebook | Instagram | Twitter ) is a basic artist and narrator. In general, he paints what he calls “adaptive landscapes” - often based on a historical theme or imaginary scene influenced by events.
- James Kirvan ( Instagram | Twitter ) - graphic artist and mural artist from Dublin. The details of the biosite for his site are small. His imagination was on stage in Carrie Black Valley, and he used the first method of spraying on a frame.
- Rebecca Noel Irvis ( Instagram ) is an American artist who is a native of North America. He studied painting and printing at the University of Philadelphia. Has been teaching art in private and university settings for over 20 years. She now teaches in Nortburg and Categories. Works on mixed paper on brown paper (from brown paper bags).
- Keith Agat ( Facebook | Instagram ) - Founded by North Devon, BA, Fashion and Textile, she collects collages from natural materials such as recyclables, handmade paper, cardboard, pastel and dried silk, bark and count. He is a member of the Swedish Academy of Arts and Crafts (SWac), a member of the Trade Association of Fine Arts and an Associate Artist of the Guild Society (AGSA). The weather was perfect for these long 12-hour shots, and we all did our best during the four-hour shoot. It was an amazing, energetic, positive experience. It completely took me out of my comfort zone. My shock, excitement, and concentration allowed me to work among employees, or rather, to approach my work smoothly, abstractly, and tremendously so that I could be included in my future work. Amateur artist
There were three fashion artists
- Raymond Gill ( Instagram ) is a former architect who retired 13 years ago. She loves to add captions to her landscapes and has created a beautiful original plant for her presentation.
- Kuang Lung ( Facebook | Instagram ) is a hairdresser who recently entered the landscape industry. He sat down with an umbrella and gave a very strong paste to the protesters in Hong Kong. However, there are no other landscapes on his website.
- Eagle Min ( Facebook | Instagram | Graduation ) - Master of Arts BCU from the University of Abstraction. His conversation was from a student dormitory. It always starts with the dark colors in the pictures. She paints a lot from life, paints in the car and travels in search of landscapes that can be painted! I like the shots on his site more than the shots taken in cash.
A wild symbol
As usual, 50 enthusiastic artists, both professional and amateur, came to see what they could do with the theme.
As always, there were interesting features of wild card artists (see articles below) and a variety of techniques and tools. This time we

Both podcasters and wild cards are amazed at what they bring. Kate Eget decided to take most of her studio work with her, including the desk where she usually works.

At first I noticed that some had to come up with their own version of the drying capsule - in terms of different types of tents. One of them looked like a suspicious toilet bowl - the owner was later questioned by Joan Beckwell - and my guess was correct. Apparently, it can be used as a bath tent. Looks like a smart solution to a common rainfall problem.
Virtual image
I think last year’s winner made many people think that landscape fantasy is acceptable. I think it would be sad if it turned into a competition of creative artists instead of painting real life and landscapes.
Find the "right look"
The big challenge for every player under and wild card provider in each class is to find the “right scene”.
But what is the "right view"?
Judges often think at the beginning of each session - before we move on to drawing - what they want to do on this day and what artists should think about when deciding what to look for. It’s always nice to listen to - but it’s just a “comment” - and I don’t think they’re always right.
This section (explicitly or implicitly) describes many things and topics ( see next paragraph).
- The main question is how to combine Compton Verney Estate and the best visual interpretation of the house . The next question is, "And property, and house, or property, or house, and if so, what?"
- What is the focus? - Often, when an artist understands the importance of staying, I can find out who will not be chosen and how to achieve it.
- Where to draw a line / how to take the edges of the inscription. Those who use a picture book before starting work may have a thoughtful answer to this problem - but not always. I’ve seen evidence that people don’t use their picture books wisely. Drawing a large thumbnail in a picture book is not the same as trying different options before choosing the best one.
- If the landscape is already built and finished, what will he repeat? This question should be asked every time a brown-haired woman leads them to a historic house in a park area.
"Perfection already exists, so we don't need to repeat it."
- How exactly? "How free?" Is the opposite. I was surprised to see how people began to draw clearly before the whole picture was banned.
- What is the panoramic view format? Should you use a panoramic position or should you choose a vertical and possibly a vertical position?
- Does the size match the clock? It seems that many artists did not ask or answer this question. Surprisingly, few realize that it can sometimes be easy to grow because it allows artists to work harder. (I remember the full meaning of the description when I was just growing up). Or, if you plan on doing little things, you may be offered great performance.

- Kuang Lun chose home, location and sailors. At least for a while the camera and cameramen were on display!
I’ve always thought about how many people will turn around before they start exploring color options and maybe even take a picture or two.
How to apply and remove paint
I like to see artists who use brushless techniques to add and remove color. So we saw ....
- Julia uses liquid paint as air to make it look like a sponge. This is the “technique” that can make a difference for artists looking for quick ways to apply the first coats of paint to prepare in four hours.
- A wild symbol that uses pyrography to create a work. It’s a trick to get back on track - the burn line won’t go away easily!
- It uses a very loud angle grinder to remove paint from wild characters.
